About the Barn Close To Ceiling Light:
- The batten holder allows shades to be fitted as close to the ceiling as possible.
- The metal ceiling rose is available in black, gold/brass and white finishes.
- The wooden mounting blocks pictured are not included but can be purchased separately . Select the 10cm version from the drop down menu for this fitting.
- The steel shades are available in Black enamel or painted Federation Green finishes with a white inner.
- The Aged Solid Copper shades are made from solid copper. It has been fired for an aged look finish. These shades have a natural oxidised finish that continues to develop over time. The rustic finish is rough showcases the natural aged beauty of copper. The inside is cleaned (not buffed) and then left raw. This finish will continue to patina over time dependant on the environmental conditions they are placed in.
- Our copper shades are made with 100% natural materials. The finishes are not designed to be a uniform, consistent finish. A consistent finish can only be achieved through electroplating over cheaper materials. The beauty of choosing natural materials are the characteristics of the imperfections and patina which continue to develop over time. The imperfections are not considered defects.
- For continuity between rooms team up with another fitting from the range.
- The lamp holder has a removable lamp shade ring and takes a standard bayonet (B22) bulb. Max 40w.
